what i’m all about:
I’m Abby — a Pennsylvania born-and-raised, home-grown, wife + momma with a deep-rooted passion for photographing families in every stage of life.
All throughout my photography journey, I’ve been drawn to one thing: creating photos that can replay memories. It’s what originally sparked my interest in photography and has kept me at it ever since! Before I ever picked up a camera, I was amazed at the power of photography - how a dusty old picture could spark such deep-rooted memories and bring back all the emotions from a moment years ago. This still rings so true for me, and I count it a privilege to document family legacies as they’re forming.
I’m one of those photographers that is way more “friend” than “photographer.” I take time to get to know my clients and their precious families and we have fun all along the way. Keep on reading to get a peek into who I am when I’m not behind my camera or staring at my laptop!

So, why families?
LET ME TELL YOU!
This question deserves its own spot on my website! If you’ve followed along with Abby Neff Photography since the beginning, you’ll know that my original focus was on weddings. I still love love (don’t get me wrong!), but after starting a family of my own, everything changed.
Becoming a mother developed a deep passion in me for documenting family legacies. I started to realize just how rapidly time slips away and how fleeting these precious moments are. Each stage of family life is so unique and beautiful, but yet so short (even the ones that feel never-ending). I love getting to press pause on the milestones and provide imagery to help you say “remember when.”
Your everyday moments are worth documenting. They may feel mundane right now, but one day, these will be the moments you long to relive. When that time comes, you’ll have two options. Will you pull from a foggy memory? Or will you be able look back at a photo and feel the emotions come flooding back? I hope it’s the second one. ♡
Photographs are precious and invaluable in every stage of life, and it’s a privilege to give my undivided attention to families, from first love to growing littles all the way through grandparent-hood!
